Venture Capital Vice President

Write the role overviA leading pan-European growth investment platform is seeking a Growth Equity Vice President to join its Amsterdam office.

The firm partners with high-growth businesses across enterprise software, fintech, payments, AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital business services, supporting expansion-stage companies through international scaling and strategic liquidity events.

This position offers direct ownership of transaction execution, investment committee leadership, portfolio strategy, and founder advisory across Europe’s most active technology ecosystems.

The successful candidate will work closely with Partners, founders, CFOs, and operating teams on complex minority investments, structured growth rounds, buy-and-build strategies, and exit preparation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deal execution for minority and majority growth investments
• Build advanced operating, valuation, and returns models
• Lead commercial, financial, and product diligence processes
• Drive investment committee materials and internal deal theses
• Support portfolio leadership teams on growth strategy and KPI frameworks
• Lead bolt-on acquisition and market expansion analysis
• Mentor Associates and Senior Associates across live deal workstreams
• Build relationships with founders, co-investors, and advisors across Europe

Requirements

• 6-8 years of experience in growth equity, private equity, investment banking, or technology M&A
• Strong transaction leadership and investment judgment
• Advanced LBO, growth, and SaaS valuation modeling skills
• Strong understanding of software and recurring revenue business models
• Experience working directly with founders and senior management teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong commercial mindset with deep interest in technology investing
