Strategy Consulting Manager

A globally recognized strategic advisory and transformation platform is seeking a Strategy Consulting Manager to join its Zurich office.

The team advises private equity investors, investment funds, global banks, insurers, and multinational corporations on commercial strategy, operational performance, post-merger integration, cost optimization, and growth acceleration.

This role combines client leadership, workstream ownership, team management, and direct exposure to C-level stakeholders across Switzerland, Germany, France, the UK, and wider Europe.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams across commercial due diligence, operating model redesign, strategic growth programs, and value creation plans for sponsor-backed and listed businesses.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial due diligence and strategic workstreams

• Manage client relationships and senior stakeholder communication

• Design value creation plans for PE-backed portfolio companies

• Lead transformation initiatives across finance and operations

• Manage consultants and develop junior team members

• Prepare executive-level recommendations and board materials

• Support business development and proposal generation

• Drive post-deal performance improvement programs

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in strategy consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate strategy

• Strong experience leading teams and client-facing projects

• Exposure to financial services, PE, or multinational corporate environments

• Excellent analytical problem-solving capabilities

• Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and executive storytelling skills

• Strong people leadership and mentoring ability

• Fluent German and English language skills

• Top-tier academic background in business, economics, engineering, or finance
